Video Games

Video games. Maybe the best invention man ever did make. There's nothing better than being able to shoot, roleplay, or race. Unlimited lives, anything is acomplishable, and the best part is just the smile they put on your face, from excitment.
People tell me, all over the place, that there is no technique or skill required to play videogames. I ,however, very strongly dissagree. If you can get a MOAB nuke in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, then you have skill. You just can't run around and not get killed, you need a "gamer's" technique, to stay alive, but mosty to kill at the same time.
Xbox 360 is where it's at. Call of Duty, Gears of War, along with many other genres, make up the games able to be played. Honestly, there is something out there for everyone! Sports, shooters, roleplay,  puzzle, arcade, and the list keeps going.
The reason why I am passionate about video games, is because, they imbuke a kind of knowledge that is not found ANYWHERE else. The realism to connect with other people and a type of bond that is made with other strangers, that played the game you did. Granted this bond is nowhere near strong enough to save your life, but sitting in a room with nothing to do but talk to someone, it provides a good conversation, and may result in a new friend.
They best upside, is that they are cheap, and one game may hold your atention and interest for many months. If something can hold your "Want to" attitude, then why not persue, that happy thought.
Many people also say that playing games is bad for your health. In some ways that is true, in others it is not, although.
Sitting all day in a chair, not good. Staring at a screen all day, not good. Too much of anything hurts you, at least thats what mom says. When it comes to puzzle games, anything that will cause you to think, brainstorm, and problem solve, is a good that outweighs all bad.
